Floor Care Services
Terrazzo is a floor covering consisting of decorative stone chips. Usually, marble, suspended in a solid or epoxy mix. Polished and sealed terrazzo forms a durable surface full of colors, each floor a different creation. Though the epoxy or cement makes the floor trying to damage, damage does occasionally occur. This destruction is repairable, using a patch created of the same beautiful stone combined with an epoxy resin colored to match the floor covering. Once it’s in position, you can finish the patch to indistinguishable from the original cover.
Step 1
Eliminate any sealer over the damaged terrazzo using a commercial Floor Care Services sealant remover. Spread the remover over the stained area with a squeegee, then ready for the manufacturer-recommended length of time for the remover to soften the finish. Remove the stripper with a damp mop, clean the floor with clean water to remove any stripper residue.
Step 2
Mop the damaged floor with a pH-neutral cleaner to remove any dirt or debris. Rinse with clean water, and pat the bottom dry with a fresh cloth.
