When using multiple terrazzo colors, installers make metal divider strips to the part with an epoxy adhesive.
Then they mix the two-component epoxy pitch with the decorative aggregate and pour the material onto the part.
Installers trowel the epoxy mix to the top of the strips and then leave it to cure overnight (or at least 18 hours).
The next day, they automatically grind and polish the surface to expose the natural beauty of the beautiful aggregate.
The last step is to use a sealer, which makes the surface more resistant to water, chemicals, oil, grease, acids, and solvents.
